A mix of sweet, salty and a little kick of spice is always a good idea for dinner! Ready in less than 30 minutes, and it's easy to meal prep.
Ingredients:
Steak of choice
Broccoli
1 tablespoon Chicken or beef broth (powdered or liquid)
1/3 cup Soya sauce
Sriracha (optional)
1/4 cup Coconut sugar (can use brown sugar)
1 teaspoon Baking soda
Corn starch (enough to coat beef and 1 tablespoon for sauce mixture)
1-2 cloves Garlic
Fresh ginger (grated & to taste, about 1/2 inch)
Rice
1/4 to 1/2 cup of water
Method:
Cut steak up in strips
Coat with cornstarch, baking soda & pinch of salt
Cook strips until golden then set aside
Cook rice
Pre-steam broccoli (will cook more in the sauce)
Mix together soya sauce, garlic, ginger, sriracha, broth, cornstarch and water
Add the broccoli & mix to pan with steak and cook until sauce thickens.
Add layer of rice to plate and top off with beef & broccoli
